What a day it’s been. The wonderful O’Hooley & Tidow and the mighty Peatbog Faeries closing our main stages, Morganway tearing things up earlier with Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage delighting the audience with their on stage musical chemistry, and ofcourse the legend that is John Kirkpatrick. Our fabulous morris dancers delighted crowds in Ely with their colourful procession along the High Street and around the market – and then had the energy to return to the festival site for even more dancing! Lots more great music across our three stages that entertained the audiences through concert performances and workshops where the audience could try whistle playing, drumming, and other skills for themselves. Younger festival visitors didn’t miss out with a host of workshops, magic performances, crafts & fun events taking place – including the dog bingo game! Another fabulous day at Ely Folk Festival.
