Camping

One of the pleasures of Ely Folk Festival is that camping is available on the same site as the main festival arena.

Given the high temperatures we currently enjoying in Ely and fire risk to farmland, we won’t be allowing barbecues of any type on the festival site. If you were planning to use one please make alternative arrangements for cooking. Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re sure you understand the reason. Please note that open fires and fire pits are completely banned. Also, a reminder that there’s not much tree cover in the fens (and festival site), so please do come prepared with your sun screen, hats, parasols, water bottles, etc.  

We have made some changes to the camping and car parking areas this year – Apricot field has been expanded for more caravans, camper vans & tents, Sapphire field will not be used this year, and Lavender field will be used as the festival car parking area.

Note that cars cannot be parked next to tents during the festival.  You can drive to your chosen camping space and drop off all your gear before moving your car to the festival car park.
