What’s On : Saturday 8th July (morning/afternoon)

Jun 29, 2023

Get your morning off to a great start with a yoga class or try your hand at East Anglian step-dancing in a workshop with Fiona. If something more mellow is preferred, then the first concert of he day starts at midday on the Kingfisher stage with the Rich Young Trio, Katie Spencer and Black Jack Blues Band. Over on Nightingale stage, you can take part in whistle and drum workshops or join ‘unplugged meets’ with Gerry Colvin and Sefo Kanuteh to hear about their music influences and experiences. On the open Peregrine stage, the concert starts at 12.40 with a lively line-up of The Superphone, Fran McGillivray & Mike Burke, and the Gerry Colvin Band. If you are a younger festival visitor, Saturday activities to try out include stories from nature with Malcolm, crafting with Carnival Arts & Re-Imagine, or follow Fara our wandering minstrel who will be creating musical chaos. Don’t miss out on this…tickets available at Tickets – Ely Folk Festival.
