Howling one man blues band Thomas Ford has been playing sold out shows at some of Europe’s biggest and best known blues, jazz and roots music festivals. Recent stages include Cognac Blues Passions (FR), Moulin Blues (NL), Hometown (GE), Blues sur Seine (FR) and RDV L’Erdre (FR) – where, in 2013, Thomas won the international Tremplin blues competition. His self-penned blues songs are observant, cynical, loaded with humour, inuendo and rooted in delta blues tradition. His virtuoso bottleneck guitar playing and raucous rack-mounted harmonica are complemented by foot stomped percussion and vocals which are shouted, spat and snarled from an otherwise reserved mouth. Thomas will perform in marquee 2 on Saturday afternoon and in marquee 1 on Sunday afternoon.
