O’Hooley & Tidow

Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow are singer-songwriters from Yorkshire who specialise in harmony vocals, and whose talent invites comparison with that other famous folk duo Kate & Anna McGarrigle. Original and distinctive performers of their own material, and fine interpretors of contemporary and traditional songs, their song ‘Gentleman Jack’ was used in the closing credits of the recent BBC1 drama of the same name. The Guardian refers to their “boundless songwriting and exquisite harmonies that truly shine”. Their originality and wit shines out through their stage performances and they are truly a joy to behold. O’Hooley and Todown will headline our Kingfisher stage on Saturday night.
