Following the success of their release “Ink Of The Rosy Morning” on Topic Records, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage spent much of 2023 touring with the legendary Fairport Convention. Inspired by their nightly on-stage jams they set about assembling a band of their own for the release of their 4th album “In The Dark We Grow”. The line-up featuring Jon Thorne (Lamb, James Yorkston), Josh Clark (Kate Rusby) & JJ Stoney (Billy Bragg) was carefully chosen to enable Hannah & Ben’s expanded shows to continue to be unique every night – a band that could jam; keen to explore a new sonic vista every time they reconvened on stage. “They achieved the intimacy of a small club, in a field of 20,000; quite some achievement.
