Build your confidence in playing tunes with other people and joining in sessions by coming along to this immersive workshop led by David Savage. Popular folk tunes (mainly English) will be played in the key of G and within the compass of most popular instruments. There is a tune book (so that we are all playing more or less the same tune) with straightforward versions of the tunes and guitar chords. You can download it from

Printed copies will also be available to borrow at the workshops. The tunes will be played slowly at first and may then speed up just a little as everyone get more familiar with the melody. The workshops will take place on Saturday and Sunday in Nightingale at 15.00.
