Festival camping

One of the pleasures of Ely Folk Festival is that camping is available on the same site as the main festival arena. While, we have increased the size of the on-site camping area, space is still limited, and for this reason, we only allow weekend ticket holders to camp or park their caravan or campervan on the festival site.

If you wish to camp at Ely Folk Festival, you will need to book a weekend ticket with camping for each person. In addition, you will also need to book a camping pitch for each tent, caravan or campervan you are bringing. When booking a camping pitch(es), we will ask you to select a pitch for a small tent (1-3 person), large tent (4-6 person) or caravan/campervan (up to 8 metres long including A-frame) on the festival campsite of your choice, unless you are booking by post. This will ensure that we can plan accordingly for the number of tents and caravans/caravans booked. Check out this link to the site plan – Site Plan 2021 v0-2[13550] to view the location of the different campsites on the festival site. IMPORTANT INFORMATION – while we remain a dog-friendly festival, the rugby club has asked us not to allow dogs on either of their pitches that we use as campsites 2 & 3. This means that if you are booking a camping pitch and wish to bring your dog, please book a pitch on campsites 1 or 4. If you book a camping ticket and pitch by post, we will allocate pitches on a first-come basis.

If you are registered disabled, once you have booked your festival ticket, please phone 07500 527334 to reserve a disabled camping space and parking space on the festival site. You can also let us know about any special assistance you may require over the festival weekend then.

If you have a larger caravan, campervan or motor home longer than 8m, once you have booked your festival ticket, please phone 07500 527334 so we can allocate a camping space large enough for it.

Please note that cars cannot be parked next to tents during the festival.
