Susan Fancourt Green photo 1  Fil the festival bar manager has been working hard to source the best local artisan beers and ciders for the festival bar this year. East Anglia is blessed with a great number of local breweries and cideries and the majority of beers and ciders sold are from within a  20 mile radius of the festival site – great for taste and great for the festival’s carbon footprint. This year, beers & ciders include: Elgoods: Black Dog Mild, Double Swan, Golden Newt; Milton: Pegasus, Dionysus, Justinian, Minerva; Two Rivers: Hares Hopping, Denver Diamond, Porter’s Pride; Mile Tree: Larksong, Meadow Gold, Wellstream; Lord Conrad: Spiffing Wheeze, Her Majes Tea, Slap’n’Tickle, Zulu Dawn Mild; Banks & Taylor: Dragonslayer, Midsummer, Edwin Taylor Stout, Moonshine: Raspberry Porter, Shelford Crier, Sundowner, Heavenly Matter; Son of Sid: Muckcart Mild, English Ale, Golden Shower; 3 Blind Mice: Old Brown Mouse, Six-One-Seven, Lonely Snake; Fellows: Gulping Fellow, Crafty Fellow;  plus ciders from Hereward, PIckled Pig & Spinney Abbey cideries. Given the quality and the diversity of the beer and cider on sale, and in response to customer feedback, this year Fil will be posting up tasting details of the selection in the bar tent.  A selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks will also be available. This year our merchanise tent will also be stocking some handy glass carriers for your bar beverages.
