We’re working up a bumper list of kids activities for the 2018 festival under the theme of Dreams & Nightmares; and for starters, how about Climb That Tree, the brand new musical show from award-winning songwriter and musician David Gibb. Join David on a musical journey through his hilarious and often surreal imagination, where dragons live under the bed, wolves are roaming the corridors at school, and teddy bears dance the night away at the disco. Storyteller Marion Leeper will tell stories of dreams – and nightmares! Come along and join in stories of wishes come true, perfect presents, fantastic feasts – and monsters, creepy-crawlies and things that go bump in the night. Get creative at Ely Carnival Arts and make your outfit for the grand festival parade on Sunday afternoon.’ Visit Naomi to make native american dream catchers; masks and crowns to decorate; sparkly wands to make…work in a group, meet friends from last year…or find a corner for some quiet colouring. The ever popular Jan’s Van for fun & freeplay…times of opening will be posted up.
