Ely-based Jacqui and Geoff play clever, folk-inspired songs about life, love and snakes, alternating between delicately tugging at your heart-strings and ripping them out with ditties about stalkers, drinking and ageing Casanovas. They will be performing on Sunday evening of the festival.

They met when they were both starting out as solo artists in Cambridge and Ely and decided to join forces. They’ve since established themselves as a regular feature in and around the city, playing everywhere from the Portland Arms to Little Thetford Social Club.

Their debut EP of wry folk-pop with delicious vocal harmonies was released in December 2009. As well as continuing to play as a duo, in 2010 they recruited a rhythm section from popular local beat combos The Scissors and The Pony Collaboration to beef up their sound and continue their gentle rise to world domination through acoustic pop.
