About You

Do you hold a current First aid certificate?

Some volunteer tasks may involve lifting / moving equipment. (Please be aware that some of the jobs involved in the Set-up can be quite physically demanding eg erecting tents and moving chairs and tables. You will not be expected to do any heavy lifting or work at high level)

Are you able to perform such tasks?

Is there any task that you cannot or are unwilling to do? (We should be made aware of any relevant disability or medical problem)

When did you last steward at Ely?

If you have stewarded at another festival recently, please tell us where and when?

Present or previous occupation (We want to make the most of your skills and experience!)

Duty preferences

We need volunteers to work in a variety of areas and at times from 8.00am to after midnight.
Please check the appropriate boxes if you have a preference, although we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to that duty or team. Priority will be given to applicants who are more flexible and more available!

Set up / breakdown crews will mainly work Thursday and Monday, with a smaller number needed on Wednesday and Tuesday. There will also be a few jobs to be done on Friday morning, especially if the weather is poor. You must commit at least two full days to be considered for this team.

Set up / breakdown before and/or after the festival

Festival stewards (Friday to Sunday) will be on duty for around 10 hours over the weekend. Most people will have duties in two areas and we try to ensure whenever possible that those undertaking gate, campsite and roving duties also get a duty in the marquees.

Shift lengths:

If you wish to steward with a friend, please tell us their name
