Festival accessibility information
Ely Folk Festival takes place on a reasonably level grassy site. Weather conditions will affect the overall state of the ground. This is particularly important for wheelchair users and those with mobility problems. The festival site is a 5 minute car drive and a 20 minute walk from Ely city centre. A free shuttle bus (not wheelchair accessible) connects the festival site, city centre and rail station over the festival weekend.
We provide convenient reserved camping pitches on all three campsites, for people with disabilities. Once you have booked your festival ticket, please phone 07500 527334 to reserve a disabled camping space and parking space on the festival site. (You’ll need to have your booking reference available). You can also let us know about any special assistance you may require over the festival weekend then. Please note that cars cannot be parked next to tents during the festival. If you are in a tent and need ready access to your car please arrange parking as below.
We have disabled parking spaces available on the festival site for weekend and day visitors. To reserve a disabled parking space, after booking your festival ticket, please call 07500 527334 to reserve a parking space on site. You will need to bring your blue badge with you when coming to the festival site.
We have a reserved wheelchair area in the main marquee. There is ramped access to the dance floor, and accessible loos near the main marquee. We will endeavour to provide whatever assistance you need – please advise when booking.
