Andrew Goodbody photo 1     This year we’ve got three great ceilidhs lined up. The late night ceilidh on Friday will be hosted by the stonking Monster Ceilidh Band bringing their brand of powerhouse ceilidh combining traditional dance forms with contemporary electronic dance music. The family ceilidh on Saturday afternoon will be led by Zaramo who bring an international flavour to the event with driving rhythms and luscious melodies from Balkans, as well as French Canadian, Russian and a hint of Klezmer and Irish music. Sunday evening will see Steamchicken play their hearts out at the last ceilidh of the festival – this eight-piece ensemble of virtuosic cacophony span folk, jazz, soul & funk genres with unstoppable energy. No previous ceilidh dance experience needed to have a fun time at any of our ceilidhs as expert tuition will be provided by the callers – just bring lots of energy, flat shoes, and stamina!
